Beautiful Faces

It doesn't make sense to be a neighbor with a fence Cause on the other side there could be hiding a friend Who's spent their whole life wishing they could find someone like you Cordially they'll smile and say "Let's walk another mile" And when you need it most they'll take your load for a while I'm grateful that God gave me friends who help me make it through Everywhere there are beautiful faces Stars and trees that fill in all the spaces I've got a cotton bed where I can always lay my head A Father who will embrace with open arms The road may be hard but heaven isn't far Shouldn't that all be enough to fill me with love So me and my best friend packed up and headed out We hiked up to a cliff where the mountain met the clouds I looked out from the mount and heard a voice that said "You're not alone" I stood there in awe as the sun set in the sky All the birds then returned to their homes nearby What wonderful complexities that could never form on their own Everywhere there are beautiful faces Stars and trees that fill in all the spaces I've got a cotton bed where I can always lay my head A Father who will embrace with open arms The road may be hard but heaven isn't far Shouldn't that all be enough to fill me with love And I'm thankful but it's hard To move forward and not want more Yeah I'm thankful but it's hard To move forward and not want more Lord please restore my heart once more Everywhere there are beautiful faces Stars and trees that fill in all the spaces I've got a cotton bed where I can always lay my head A Father who will embrace with open arms The road may be hard but heaven isn't far Shouldn't that all be enough to fill me with love
