I Am Enough

Sometimes when I am snuggled in my bed It's quiet all around me, but not within me So many thoughts and voices crowd my head I'm confused and feel defeated Which one should I believe? This world tries to convince me That I am not enough Not good enough, not brave enough That I should just give up And so I fall down on my knees And pray this storm within will cease There's one who knows my heart And who I really am And he sends these thoughts to me I am enough, because I'm His He enfolds me in His love Sends down His peace from up above I am enough for Him He turns my water into wine He's right beside me as I climb I am enough Sometimes we all forget that we aren't really just from here We are children of our Father, and though we're far from Him, He's near On our own we're just mere mortals, and so we stumble and we fall But with Him our worth is endless, He has given us His all We are enough, because we're His He enfolds us in His love Sends down His peace from up above We are enough for Him He turns our water into wine He's right beside us as we climb We are enough You are enough I am enough Because of Him
