Same Mistakes

I have a hard time going back. I'll admit it. I carry a lot of it after the fact. I grew up in a family of wolves. I was fighting for my life. Life felt safer at school. You had your head down you didn't know. I don't blame you but don't expect me to show. I think that I am healing. Can you blame me? I am healing. I wish I could go back and tell my younger self. None of this matters even though it hurts like hell. Don't underestimate me. I am the way you raised me but I can change. I won't make the same mistakes.
