I Wish It Were Rainin'

The sun kindly shines through my window​ But I sit inside watching the people go Leaves dance with he breeze like their waving to me Inviting calling but I've got a different plea It may be sunny outside but I wish it were rainin' And when they come inside I hope they'll stay for tea I may be lonely but Misery loves company And I know if it were rainin' They'd finally have time for me Oh time for me Now I know it sounds sad And I should go see The beauty of this life To feel kind of free But when I see the waves delivered from the sea I realize I'm alone so I get down on my knees Remorse is for children so put me on a swing So I can say how I feel without there any rain And then they don't have to run from my tears Fallin' from the sky casting all of my fears It may be sunny outside but I wish it were rainin' And when they come inside I hope they'll stay for tea I may be lonely but Misery loves company And I know if it were rainin' They'd finally have time for me Oh time for me
