Please dear god as I lie here in bed Allow me to shut off my stale, restless head I shut the lids only looking to dream The lord hath cursed the bees upon me All my thoughts are bees whizzing by Taking the nectar from my honeycomb mind My brain is their tenant It's a daily lease They sting their home Never to cease Buzz buzz Buzz buzz The brood is here to stay Buzz buzz Buzz buzz As long as the queen has her say Insecticide does not subdue They gather if their prey's in view They've got their way and wasted mine The problem is I can't kill the hive
