Psalm 21 (KING PHILIP)

O Jehovah the king in Your strength shall be glad and shall in Your salvation rejoice; For You freely have given each wish his heart had You at-tend to the cries of his voice All the blessings he craved You did graciously give with the purest of gold he is crowned When he asked of You life You Have made him to live while the ages shall circle around Through salvation from You is his fame widely spread for the majesty You did impart O most blessed forever the King has been made and Your presence has gladdened his heart For the king in the name of Jehovah Most High did unwavering confidence place; Through His great lovingkindness He still will rely on the Highest and stand by His grace You will stretch forth Your hand on the heads of Your foes on Your haters a right hand of power Then Your wrath shall around them like furnace flames close; for Jehovah's own wrath shall devour From the earth shall their race be consumed and destroyed and their offspring forever shall fail; By the evil they plotted the schemes they employed they shall never against You prevail You will turn back your foes; You will put them to flight when Your arrows are aimed at their face Be exalted Jehovah In strength and in might; we will sing of Your power and grace
