Far from here Is where she resides I'm not quite sure where She's told me twice But see, I'm adrift; entwined In her design And for this one I'll bide my time But time ran out before I even had the chance And now she's gone It's as if it had never happened My transient, ephemeral woman It won't sink in Before it's too late My comprehension was delayed And now I think of what could have been And if she will feel the same Thought back to where I caught her stare as I moved by So I returned only to see if I would again It's ingenuous, I know
