Well, the other shoe has dropped but luckily I would rather walk Barefoot alone in the dirt than walk on a cloud with you The more I stop to think about it, I'm not even sad your gone I was Just scared to death that your absence would leave me incomplete So you know, I wish you the very best and I hope you feel the same At the end of the day we both had to face the facts - it was never gonna work out this way So will you let this depression lead to an infection that will eat away your life until it's gone? Or will you find the strength to carry on? I don't hate you even though I feel like I should But the honest truth is your barely on my mind And besides, nothing much has changed - nothings all that different We still have to face the finality of life.
