Notes for When Stepping Off a Cliff

Well, I'm in debt - how much? I forget The house we live in is full of holes that our animals have left And the shower's full of shit, but at least there's not a fan for it to hit And our dog's a nervous wreck, still I'd do it all again Well, maybe not the dog Well, my car is broken down - I don't know why. I don't know how All I know is I gotta move it off of Hwy 9 before the cops come to impound And my job's late again with their checks - this fucking bullshit never ends We'll do the same damn thing again next week, and that's alright with me cause Stepping off of a cliff is much easier with A friend who says "I'll race you to the bottom" but stays with you the whole trip Stepping off of a cliff is much easier to do So I hope next time I have to step off of a cliff, I hope I get to step with you It's just you and me and this big, bright, new city The corridors we'll walk at night and the great food we will eat And maybe if we're lucky the dog won't tear out his fur Who the f*ck am I kidding? Of course he will.
