Dust Pt. 1 & 2

Another night blanketing my mind I guess Come in through the porch and undress This little roost of mine is warm and holds all of the light I own No no no light is shown it's not mine to own No no no I'm grown don't own a thing Morning sun runs through cuz the window is bust Holding it's lovely form from the dust Ooo I hope the wind stays with me today Hey hey hey don't play let it goes it's own way Hey hey hey don't be gray it's almost may I fell asleep out on the lawn With my shoes undone And my waking thought was to go down to the lake Bury my clothes again Slip into blue with them Lately the way that i've been carrying myself Has slowed into more of a drag But i can't seem to keep up with everyone around me So i'll cling to these silly songs That i listen to on my way to work At 6 in the morning Everyday at work hope that the wind blow on the embers of my Gleaming childish yearning To wander past a corn-clad midwest And appreciate something more than these prairies But as for now I'm working on Being comfortable In my own home It's slow work and I can't really tell if i'm making any progress But that's just where I'm at Right now
