Childhood Hiding Tree

And as I walk through the grass And green abyss of the forest I come across a tree where I used to reside A picture carved into the wood where I used to hide Of a memory of a better time A memory when I was alright A time when I was almost fine A time when all I'd do was just sit and My mind is frothing lightly At thoughts of past condemned A somber ordinal direction Pointing out from home I wander indelightly Youth put out to an end A tree of interception All I'd do was sit and hide But while I wait for the past to return And come to reform A present that seems like it's all repeating slides Depicting objects all from which that I used to hide But wasn't I in a better time? Or did I just have a better mind? Why can I not cross this line? Accept that all I'd do was just sit and My life collapses rightly To actions that amend A honing optical confliction Thought to turn a tide A realization bites me Just what I could not send A tree of interception All I'd do was sit and hide
