Helpless

My mother has the kindest soul Always achieving every goal Forever wanting the best for us A relationship built on trust I admit I wasn't the perfect child Out of control, yes, I was wild But I think that I turned out okay At least that is what people say You have always been there for me I never tell you all, but I do see I never want you to leave this earth Cause my heart will break and leave me as helpless as I was at birth My father is a real tough man Does whatever he wants when he can  Some say I'm too much like that guy Well, he’s my father, so no Wonder why We've had our fights, but it's all good We always talk about things, like men should We drink and sing until we’re passed out Then I drink some more and sint it out You have always been there for me I never tell you all, but I do see I never want you to leave this earth Cause my heart will break and leave me as helpless as I was at birth I know the day will come when you say your last goodbye As time goes by I think about it more, I wonder why It leaves tears in my eyes when I realize that you must go So I wanted you to know how much I love you both  You have always been there for me I never tell you all, but I do see I never want you to leave this earth Cause my heart will break and leave me as helpless as I was at birth
