I Face the Monster

In this temple of fear I venerate my dear Monster of my fear Eating my weaknesses I could run I could escape But I'm not afraid I face the monster His wings spread As he flies away Will he be back? I'm ready to embrace him His shadow is upon me I light the way in front of me Light the way Face the monster The winds are raging Trying to slow me In this infernal din I hear the monster's call
