Like a dreamer, the journey of life of an empath is never easy As for me, God entrusted me with both responsibilities I am not special or different from anyone else though There are many of us just like me scattered all over the world I must admit that there are times when I feel blessed for these gifts I feel blessed because these gifts feed my Soul to its fill, and all I know is bliss Well, other times I feel as if these gifts are a curse Because nobody seems to truly understand my heart – not even myself – and it feels lonely Even so, I have learned to embrace both times Like every other dreamer and empath, I have learned the hard way For us, life can be a constant battle between the heart and the mind A lot of times, it takes tears and scars for us to finally understand who we truly are All knowledge, even knowledge of Self, is attained through sacrifice and pain So, to all my Soul brothers and sisters, this right here is for you Through it all, you are never alone In fact, you were never alone, and you never will be Whatever it takes, follow your path boldly to the very end For none of you is here accidentally We are here to heal the world as we heal our Self We are here to share the light that we are So let your light shine, and let nobody dim it Yes, not even you Not even you
