Leeches' Feast

The leeches feast, the earth’s their host They cling and suck, there’s nothing to boast They drain the life, from every pore A husk of a planet, forevermore The parasites feast, upon the earths pain They cling and consume, with nothing to gain Slurping life - each vain and core A barren wasteland, ‘till live is no more Parasites, on the land they feed Absorb the essence of life With their ravenous greed And the earth is left barren The nameless swarm, with jaws that tear Their hunger unyielding, no remorse or care They crawl and burrow, through earth and stone Leaving destruction, where life had grown Parasites they are, on the land they feed Bloodsuckers pave their ruthless way Wiping out everyone and everything Their legacy is one, of destruction and despair As they suck the life out, leaving nothing but air The leeches feast, the earth’s their host They cling and suck, there’s nothing to boast They drained the life, from off the soil Forevermore, their reign will prevail The earth cries out for relief from destruction The parasites carry on their never ending fight Until the land’s depleted, nothingness surrounding them And they are left to famish their own impending doom Leeches feast, on the land they feed Absorb the essence of life With their ravenous greed And the earth is left barren
