Skeletons

There's a place Between the drawers of my mind Where I build skeletons And I draw lines I like to stand there Watching rocks turn into sapphires I like to pretend It's all right The cure that I'm taking is making me sick The steps that I'm walking bring me to my knees It's always the same old movie, We're acting the same old scene I can't tell when Tell when my heart totally dried Yet I still hear it Beating off time If I turn the lights off I can still think I'm not alive But I'm only part of the sky So I look above and feel unharmed, I've never been that far I root around things I can't comprehend If you're killing me, Then why am I glad for that?
