Where am I?

This is disappointment This is desperation The harm of generations... We never learned to communicate with what is deep inside So we suffer on our own, by accepting a selfish pride What's the essence of self? As it's afraid. Afraid and shy What's the value of the words we share when spending trust? A problem can't be solved alone, feelings not denied Why so displaced? Why so shy? Why do we only cry behind disguise? Blinded by alienation, numbed by discouragement Too many memories are caged, behind the bars of a daunted self
