Hate me Hate me All of the people hate me Until I shut up and kept quiet And kept to myself I did my work I made my grades And I graduated I walked across that stage I made it work Sure I hadda work But I made it work Depression got the best of me But I made it work Sure it really hurt Boutta count these words Laziness I reminisce I must confess I had a bit of help And sure I've rapped about not having help But I must've been hurting Because I have R3 I have kc I got my Mom I got my Dad I have people telling me they're willing to help But I won't do a thing I still use a free music creation thing But I make it work I always make it work I was in the dirt- not in my family: I got loving parents They always supported me They were always by my side They never tried to shut me down Even if I was failing High School On the verge of another year But that didn't bother them They knew I always make it work Under the surface I know I'm hurting Lingering pain I've yet to subside I've died 3 times in my life And yes that is a metaphor I wouldn't be here if I did die I've lied a thousand times I can't cry I think ill try to make it work But I can't promise anything because I'm still an amateur Yeah you heard it I think I've made about 12 dollars in these couple years I'm still afloat because I won't give up on this dream so easily I'll better my flow I don't know what to do So maybe a prayer will get answered soon
