Petty situations got me feeling hated I was made in Gods image so I know I'm hated Sat back for my turn I patently waited God answered my prayers from ten in the basement Watching my mama struggle had me feeling useless Looking for my dad he never came in view Crying out at night Like GOD what I do What I do what I do do Raised by a single mother I was raised different Thirty eight years apart was the age difference Raised by an OG If you knew her then you know me I don't do the fake and phony I don't do the fake and phony I just sit back and observe play my position from the curb I feel the actions not the words I feel the actions not the words Invisible scarz left me in this world all alone started a family on my own all I got is the Burts All I got is his word and his love Feel his grace shinning on me from above Cartier to hide to pain trying to slow down on the drank Stay above like a plane learn to dance in the rain Oh GOD I need you Oh GOD I need you We need you We all got invisible scars That pain that's that's buried deep deep down inside of our soul Some scars can't be covered with a band aid Band aids only a temporary anyways We as people need to reach out to the ones we love most Everybody go through problems Everybody dealing with something but at least check on ya ppl Man and make sure they good ya know People need to know that you care and that they're not alone on this journey Keep it simple when reaching out doe this is not the time To get more detail and ask how it happened or how they're feeling Refrain from talking about yourself or your own similar experiences Even if its even if it's in an attempt to connect and express empathy They rarely can think beyond their current pain Talking about your experiences may come across as insensitive you know Let them know you care about them Let them know you love them Let them know you're praying for them Never say you know how somebody feel even if y'all experience the same We all feel different We all have different feelings It takes a village It takes praying family and friends To help us heal our invisible scarz IAmRudy by the way Invisible Scarz This album is dedicated to my uncle Robert Lee Harris Jr Love you unc Rest in peace
