Something Happened

As I grow older I see a pattern Birthing inside of me I wish I was younger I wish I had the part of me I lost Way back in Texas 5 years ago before I moved to Nashville Cause I miss my mother She said "We love you son we'll love you forever" Something happened And every day since then is just added Something happened Never want to take this life for granted I was in a bad car wreck I was going 70 and was not even looking My friends and I were okay But when my parents picked me up They acted like nothing happened I won't stay long With nothing to lose the only way is up I won't stay long Just gotta make some noise before I'm gone
