Skateboard

Growing up did anyone else have one of those weird little skateboards Where it wasn't really a skateboard because it didn't have wheels on it And instead of having wheels it had like a big round plastic ball on the bottom And it was like the whole objective of the thing Was to balance on it as long as possible Before your forward momentum carried you off I'm in my basement recording this right now And I actually can see that same skateboard from here I kinda forgot where I was going with this Oh I remember now There's a moment right before you fall off the skateboard Where you're leaning forward and you know you're about to fall off And thus accept that you're gonna hit the ground face first I think what I'm trying to say is that I feel like I'm at a point Where I'm about to fall off my skateboard When you feel like you're about to fall off that weird little skateboard thing It's not a moment of panic, it's peace Because in a moment of collapse Like when you're about to fall off that skateboard balance thing You don't have time to do anything but breathe
