In autumn fields the dancing queen of May is weary eyed Murmurations plot to take the skies And I am the wind, I am the wind This ambered land suspended in-between a stop and go Is one I've loved and one who moves me still I am the wind, I am the wind Waiting to see what the new year will mean And the light it will throw on the world Whether leave or remain the landscape has changed And the birds have a new song to learn I call the breeze to wash these cobwebs clean with dew and rain I'll whisper through the reeds of everything I've seen I am the wind, I am the wind
