I feel so stuck Like, I've been trying to get away, but There's never any progress in my efforts And the people around me Really, only... make things worse I love them, but I wish they loved themselves I can't teach you how to do that, but Maybe I can influence direction I crave to be alone, or so I think The world inside my head is so much better when I'm hiding in my sweater But I wouldn't stay forever since it only improves When I'm locked up in my room with a bag of weed and booms It's a party til it isn't, gotta channel somethin different Didn't think I'd make it outta prison Easily it's hidden Mentally, I'm riddin everything that's hurting me It'd be a burden to hold emotions that's no longer servin me Certainly I'm curvin, duckin, swervin through inertia Couldn't stand the stagnancy and let alone the cavalry I've been surrounded by these clowns in cap and gowns Made me sing the pledge allegiance I was never really down I'd consider to join the fight if we had fought for what is right We're too divided, all defining it by what we feel inside And everyone is different Don't forget we on a mission Everybody's doin their best to know they made the right decision So have some sympathy and have some courtesy for you After all we all started as a baby in the womb Guarantee you'd do the same as anyone you'd ever hate Had you experienced the frequencies that taught em to behave Nobody is perfect, except, everybody is If we all have our definitions, we should live in em the best But some of us is searchin for someone to come and worship us And be the greatest thing to ever be How absurd and bleak Be the best for you And if they're helping you, it's cool And if they're not? It's time to go, you prolly need to be alone You'll find you someone perfect as you're workin on yourself Don't you worry about the love, it comes the more you give it out Take a step into my shoes, I question everything I do Ensure I'm doin the best for you, the best I possibly could do I know I make mistakes and there's a lot I need to change I realize I'm missin life when I stay livin it the same
