Mockingbird

I'm usually not the type of bird Who fusses with his wings But lately when I sing I feel this Yearning to be king And flap my way around this Hollow tree in hopes that she Notices me dancing with my Fancy color schemes I'm looking for a queen that I can Fly with through the clouds And show her every sound I've ever learned in every town But heaven knows its not the most Romantic song she's heard But I wonder if she'd love a mockingbird The heron is pure beauty And the eagle is just cool Everybody loves the sacred hawk And I do too Will she even notice When I fly right by in June Or will I still be lonely In this life sung out of tune I'm used to sleeping in all day but never having dreams I'm praying on a rainbow While I'm waiting on my queen Please don't let me die alone God give me one last word And find someone who loves a mockingbird Please don't let me die alone God give me your last word And find someone who loves a mockingbird Please find someone to love this mockingbird
