Trapped, in a cage Made from my loneliness I could do anything To get out and run in the wilderness Everything is going so fine but There is a hole in my chest I'm so scared of the void Afraid to jump in I guess Look into my eyes My universe's about to end And nothing left to pretend Will you hold my hand In this wasteland A silent scream is all you'll get from me I've turned my tears to sand The desert inside my heart is dry And I will not pray for rain Only love can feed my soul I wish I could feel the hunger From now I'm still here on the couch Left with anger
