Used to get so excited when my parents got home Used to obsess over everything, was all I've ever known I saw something new, and my mind was blown Thinking back to then, how much I have grown I'm grateful for my family now Who I am is all because of them They were so damn patient and loving In a very cruel world They were there for me, and I don't know how I earned it I'm home I'm home I'm not alone Home Now life is zooming by Need to stop and enjoy the little things But it's pretty hard when everything blurs together I tell myself to stop wasting time and enjoy the pretty view It hit me real hard when I realized Parents aren't perfect and being alive is only temporary Every night, I wonder how to make the most of life And close my eyes I'm home I'm not alone Home I'm home I'm not alone Home
