Circle The Drain

Lethargy out at sea a grey motion Obscure and deep silently approaching Loss of direction where do you go to? The background's a fleeting view Don't get lost there are no turns Just a visceral urge to reverse Kill the lights can't go no further Out in the night see something emerge Way ahead a light crests then bends The shadows grow expand and unfold A shock revived back to life I've been thru this night before Hopeful intentions paling affections Sinking down in the light With a smile that look in your eyes It's been awhile since you've felt alive No sign of the shore you're pulled out further A sore sight an impulsive sprawl And there's no escaping from the hole It cant stop or be controlled We're revolving around the unknown Over and over over and over Over and over over and over Over and over over and over Over and over Can feel it breaking over me And I'm held underneath By the current of tendencies And everything I'm after Approaching the edge over endless depth There's no turning back or anything to save you Now It's all apart of you There is no one that this is happening to You know the mirage is true Like the sky you are something you look right through And now you're in its full pursuit Life passes by like something you never knew
