I have spent days now Running on the same spot I try to move forward or backward But no luck These liminal spaces Bring me to a standstill I'd make a decision But it slips through my fingers I just want to say "Hello!" to you But I can't get my lips to move The first time I heard you I knew I could love you You took my breath away What the hell do I say? I don't believe in love at first sight It's too shallow But when I heard you sing I felt it in my marrow I just want to go and talk to you But I can't get my legs to move It's on the tip of my tongue What I've wanted to say for so long I overthink everything But the world goes away when you sing I down some Dutch courage and move with a purpose But then you speak to me and I go weak at the knees I just want to say "Hello!" to you But I can't get my lips to move I just want to tell you I like you But I am just an Idiot.
