Starlight shrouded silhouette Eagle flies through empty skies His keen eyes spy a handsome prize unknowing Make no sound Earth bound, touched upon the ground Just before a mighty roar Will echo of a hunger ever growing Showing we possess the power, grater by the hour But I'm certain power changes hands Surely as the sands of time drop down Thank my lucky stars Venus got to Mars When they come from the left and they come from the right And they come from above all day and night Grazing the water's shimmering wake To sore through the air for heaven's sake Dreams wake deep within our bones (Silent lucidity will wake within our bones) Ever quaking thrones are only fleeting Where true tones are ever gleaming up on high That's why even as I cry Lovers try to still make sence of all this mess I guess I'm only dreaming Seeming like a phantom moves wax way in the grooves Of their story falls on deafened loins Mounting dirty coins for their glory Counting all the ways history betrays They are scheming Caught within his gaze in an endless maze So they move to the left and move to the right And move straight ahead all day and night Face to the wind and back to the sun They break through their rusty cage and run Run off to claim their thrones
