The Cleansing

And on this day Let every eye see And every ear hear The cleansing of creation I'm floating in the air The world has set ablaze Abismal fire Sin covers its face Dark shapes cover the Face of the earth and Eyes on people's faces Reveal the evil within Oh, cleanse our evil! May grace not deppart from earth! Nor your eyes from our souls! (In eternal repentance Now you'll rot) Dark creatures emerge from The soil of the earth and The skies are darkened Revealing the evil of mankind Troops arrive in the sky They unseathe their swords Ready to kill with no remorse The sound of golden steel Takes me out to space Have I at last received the Long forgotten gift of grace?
