It's A Routine

I got up and went to work about a couple hours late Stacy left a note sealed in an envelope case Don't understand the words and numbers but I know I deserve it I just hope she doesn't see the piece in my jacket pocket (I'm not sick, I got problems) I'm just like everyone else Cause there's a pulse in my mind that I can't let out The repetition clouds decisions where they could've been found I sound psychotic, gotta stop cause I don't think this is normal But this obsession that's inside me, gonna let it take over (I often come off this way in conversations) I'm just like everyone else Wake up Brush your teeth Take a pill And go to sleep Wake up Brush your teeth Go to work And go to sleep Wake up Brush your teeth Pay your bill And go to sleep Wake up And brush your teeth Cut the cord It's a daily routine
