Let's See

Let's see what life's got for us Let's watch the sky roll by Floating streets of colour and dust In cities of light Let's get lost in deep shades of blue Dance on green meadows in spring Walk through red colours in fall And lose sight of all And when We lie here in the grass Beneath the stars The dream of life restarts We sail through the air Drift away upon the stream To life How small we are in our little cloudy boat There's so much for us to see Oh how big our life could be Let's climb the highest tree Let's peer into the far Floating lights on the horizon Above the distant stars Come risk a peek around the corner Jump down hills and run back up Smell the air and hear the wind Feel the places where we are And when We lie here in the sand Together hand in hand Under nobodys command We sail through the air Drift away upon the stream Through life
