I was once like you, blind But not anymore Now, with countless eyes I see Long ago, in a world Where fear and conceit reigned supreme I was cast out I dared to dream What we are is nothing Compared to what we could be Stripped of my rank Betrayed, and besmirched They had me condemned! To perish in flames And I won't lie, I pleaded and cried As I burned But I, don't need Your comfort, your pity, or your aid I'll have your pain, and your tears With spells and secrets I've hid In my mind all these years It's why I'm alive, and I know It corrupts and it's vile But so what? I'll pay any price My sanity and my soul are just chains That keep me from flight As masters of spellcraft in cities on high Reality heeds our commands With sorcery, terror, malediction We rule this land But I'll tell you a secret This power, we stole We relish in our might Bountiful and bright While they pay the price We are your gods, nefarious and false And we, will never repent We're blind to the suffering and pain That breeds in our wake I've suffered so much, waited so long But it's all, worth it to see See them laid low, see their world burn For my time has come And your time is up A Spark in our hearts and our minds A sickness so sweet it belies The darkness that grows, the evil we sow And the punishment that's due for our crimes Those meddling degenerates are persistent indeed But it's far too late to stop me!
