Self Pity Is a Strenuous Effort

Days keep on getting smaller The cold and damp linger Sub-routines on lost hours The evading light I need the dripping blood The challenging growth A wider and better perception To release my load It's a warming thought The never ending bliss Continuous nothing Though much more boring At one point bones all shatter Perception collapses Gather what's useful and Hold on for that bumpy ride Small victories pile up And in the process Planets align spewing us forth Into a more focused destiny
