On The Road

I've been wiping these raindrops Back and forth for weeks Raindrops are tears The windshield are my cheeks My tank is nearing e, gas is running low And it's rough roads ahead No matter where I go But then the path I've been on has always been tough I'm a rider, I'll ride until the wheels fall off But these tires are starting to get worn I have no money to replace 'em Checked the weather and It's nothing but storms that I'll be facing Open me up, and you will find Chains, nuts and bolts in the shape of a heart Need a tune up every week, Shit, man, I'm falling apart Glove compartment full of poetry Horn honks sarcastic remarks It's a messed-up situation Other cars are trying to run me Off the road, unneeded complications Some days, it takes a while to start my engine Have no purpose or motivation Keep on going, but I don't even know my destination Taking forks in the road, just to see where the road takes Me, maybe one day I'll just crash into my fate, B But will I be ready?
