Sometimes I just can't believe how people seem to act They seem to forget that life is not a simple little fairytale You can't simply sit around and just wait for heroic rescue That is plainly no way of moving things forward here I know that it can sometimes be hard to find the strength But that makes it so much more important to stay focused Taking the thorny path will never be the easy thing to do Even so you can't walk around and hope for simple solutions We are not some kind of fairytale princess with a Prince Charming on the way! This fairytale it is your own little invention Is that truly so beyond your comprehension Wishes won't be enough to create a change Why do you all seem to find that so strange It would be so nice if magic fixed everything But that is simply not how life actually swing Look everyone wants to take the easy road in this messy life Despite that you can't live in this fairytale you've created That is simply not how things actually work in our dour reality All anyone can do is be the best version of themselves yeah Daydreams will never become true without hard work too If you happen to run out of steam somewhere along the way Nothing says that you can't take a break from time to time All I ask is that you remember that fairytales are not real You can't keep pretending that life doesn't take hard work to keep on doing!
