Live with myself

For many years, my life has at times been such a heavy burden Forcing me to struggle with things that seem easy for others It makes me often wonder if there might not be something more That I could actually do to become the kind of person I want No one has ever said that change will be a pleasant experience But I'm willing to put in all the work that is probably required There has to be a way for me to find the path that I'm after And not end up in a disaster that will just make it all worse I want to find a way to live with myself I can Simply because it gets harder to do every day If only I find the strength that I will need now That way I could learn how to move forward So, I reach out my hand to those who are here To help me find the road for my true journey We are so rarely told what we should do when we are down It is so often assumed that we should already have answers That is not a way that I can live, having tried and now failed There is so much more that I want to give in this heavy life If only I could find the answers that I seek without the pain That comes from feeling like I will never be good enough Can someone please give any clue on how to do this thing Because I lost the thread to my own story much too long ago I want to find a way to live with myself Sometimes it gets harder to do every day If only I find the strength that I will need now That way I could learn how to move forward So, I reach out my hand to those who are here To help me find the road for my true journey No one ever said that change was going to be an easy thing to do If only I could find the key to the real me that is waiting to be free I want to find a way to live with myself if I can Simply because it gets harder to do every day If only I find the strength that I will need now That way I could learn how to move forward So, I reach out my hand to those who are here To help me find the road for my true journey
