Constantly racing The wind on my face Stokes the flame That compels me to run Narrow my eyes As I bask in the sunrise And welcome the day with a smile Hot on my tail There's a blistering trail And it blazes for miles and miles The road may be long From dusk back to dawn But it's paved with promise So don't lose steam The light on the hill Like ink in a quill Traces the path back to morning Follow the glow Of the embers left behind me Wherever I pass Watch the ground turn to glass Shining bright As the last of the stars I am the wheel That turns earth into steel Castaway that remains Through the storm When I hear the call I won't withdraw I'll chase the light to the north Full speed!
