Raindrop

I was once a little girl picking up the flowers Skipping stones and kicking rocks all in the meadow They went away on a cloudy day All grown up and there's no more rocks to go Voices all around talking about this little girl She was not perfect in a perfect little town Her imagination fluttered like a butterfly Who's wings went where they wanted to go People came by to reach out their hands to the Little girl in the meadow all alone They said "Good friendships never die, they last a lifetime" Little did they know she'd be in the meadow all alone It went from broken dreaming To faithful scheming To the days that were not yours Yeah we know but we're not sure How the pieces fit together like a puzzle And how the days go by and I don't know how to feel Because the world goes round And I'm upside down Just trying to figure it out On my own
