95 with blinded eyes I could hardly see through those bright headlights Coming from the other side Of interstate 40 when those dotted lines Were nothing more than ghosts to me No seatbelt I was feeling free Sitting on the edge of my seat When that cold guard rail had startled me The impact took my breath When the airbag hit my chest All I seen was red Will the ambulance come for me It was only 20 degrees On the pavement where my car left me The most blood I've ever seen Filled my lungs so I couldn't breathe That's when I fell asleep I wished I didn't take that one last drink I wasn't dreaming when I fell Straight where I belong down in hell The terror filled my veins I begged I screamed I prayed The devil laughed in my face You're staying down here with me My funeral was late They were stuck on the interstate The traffic is what I felt On top of me down in hell
