A mystery

The haters pile up on you and it takes a toll Just when you start to think you're on a roll You get dragged back down into a hole Makes you wonder if it's time to fold Getting their kicks from the joy that they stole More criticism than being extolled Just trying to find the rite one to cajole This seems to be a mystery that needs to be solved Though it may be an issue that's never resolved There's obviously some that haven't completely evolved That is something that's out of our control I'd rather keep my distance than get involved The haters pile up on you and it takes a toll Just when you start to think you're on a roll You get dragged back down into a hole
