Behold! The veil has been torn Revealing our vacuous reality A cradle for the birth of uncertainty A newborn truth Exhales it's first breath It's deafening cries of deceit Oh! Our cognition draped in deceiving shadows Our understanding diverted by hollow spectacles Behold! The veil has been torn Revealing our vacuous reality A cradle for the birth of uncertainty Where deception lies in wait A newborn truth Exhales its first breath It's deafening cries of deceit This wailing cacophony conceals all matters of truth We shall not be in the know As knowledge becomes ever changing And lies adulterate the basis of civility Behold the bastard offspring of Truth Conceived from Deceit's rotten uterus Created by corrupted agendas Delivered by the deceiving two face herald We shall be devoured by deceit unless we look inwardly The true self devoid of motives but to exist Instinctual desires echo our deepest needs Desperation shall provide adulterated guidance As we recite hollow creeds we don't align with Let the echoes of the dogma be as hollow as the womb which it crawled from Behold the child of deceit Blurred lines cannot be read For hollow tongues to interpret Nevertheless the sightless lead Into a path they cannot see The road to absolution is not that which lies before us As we're lead astray Behold!
