The Bitter Longing

I see the fire in the clouds, at the horizon The beautiful sun occurs Painting red at the skies It feels like my dreams slowly becoming The bitter longing I suffocate in emptiness, hopeless in vain Forgotten and wishful of death Drowning in mind Smiling as life slowly comes to an end I close my eyes and fall into the bitter longing I see the lightning in the clouds, at the horizon The beautiful moon occurs Painting stars at the skies Drowning into its light blinded into its sacrifice Dragged into the depths of the night Hunger to feel, rise I suffocate as I paint my dreams wide awake It hopelessly becoming my bitter longing As I walk alongside the ghost of bitter pasts A weakness of the coldness, in the weak light the dance of death, bittersweet emptiness I see the pain in their eyes, at the horizon A beautiful death occurs Painting blood at the skies The pain and the sorrow Becomes the great horror My bitter longing, I suffocate in vain I'm driven insane Deep into the forest, into the mist The mountain of doom Sacrifice at night, in blindness Into the depths of hunger Laying down in a bed of poison ivy nightmares becoming true The great escape and the hunt for you I paint dreams wide awake I close my eyes and fall Into the bitter longing My bitter longing
