Faith on Fire

Big Mike was a guy who just wanted to do right, Working for the people, every day, every night. He ran the community, records locked down, Everybody knew him as the mayor of the town. One day, a young man came through with a dream, Wanted to change up, walk in a new scene. Said he found faith, felt his soul shine bright, But his old life and papers just didn't feel right. Faith on fire, burnin' strong in the fight, When you're walkin' with purpose, hold on tight. Life can bring storms, but stand your ground, 'Cause help comes through when faith comes around. Mike thought a second, saw the kid's pain, Knew this change could ease the strain. One guy had passed, his papers still there, So Mike said, "Take 'em - wear 'em like a prayer." But word got out, someone tipped the crew, Had Mike in court, didn't know what to do. So he went to his mentor, old school, wise man, Asked for advice, like, "What's the plan?" His mentor just nodded, told him "Hold on, Delay this case, take a breath, stay strong." Pushed it off once, and when it came up again, Said, "Head to the wedding - there's power in friends." The wedding was packed, crowd wall to wall, Mike tried to get close, but it was a brawl. Finally, he found the man he was sent to see, A wise old mentor, told him, "Stand with me." "You took this role to lift your community, Helping others, that's your immunity."
