Trust the Big Bills

Yo, we gathered 'round the mentor, we was sittin' in the zone, Hyped about the wisdom, how it hit close to home. Old heads, young cats, feelin' something real deep, 'Bout that purpose, that hustle, how you sow what you reap. So this one OG, simple dude from the block, Kept sayin', "Man, this hit, this talk really rocks." We all kinda laughed, thought he didn't get the game, Til he broke it all down, man, his story hit the same. He said, "Yo, I wake, and I hit that grind, But now I start my day with a focused mind. Trust the big bills gonna come my way, I don't sweat the little dollar, I'm good today." He told us how the mentor looked him dead in the eye, Said, "You out there chasin' every dollar, but why? You trust the world each night when you close your eyes, So trust it just the same when the sun starts to rise." Then he told us a story 'bout a young man in the mix, Had his whole stash saved, twelve bills, one fix. Dude was scared to leave it, couldn't let it go, But he had to trust somebody, so he gave it a go. Now he got his big bills back safe and clean, But trippin' over one dollar seemed kinda mean. Mentor told him, "Bruh, don't sweat that part, Start with your soul first, get straight to the heart." Now the OG finished, we was hangin' on each line, Realizin' the truth, and the wisdom divine. He said, "Start with that focus, bringin' your best, That's how you set yourself apart from the rest." So now we hit the grind, but it's different somehow, We got purpose, we got peace, and we know just how.
