There is a somber woman Calling, begging to be free Smothered in a profound dark Her oppression a travesty I do not know her. We've never met Yet I have known her for all my years A subtle presence, an influence On all my pleasures and my fears I am searching for the truth The double matter I must become The union of the sun and moon This flesh I must overcome My magnum opus; my great work This drowning woman, I can't confine Putrefaction purification I must ascend, become divine It is a chaos to understand This agony inside my head Do I reject her, or let her lead? What do I fear, is it my own need? I reach out to take her hand A chaos I hope to understand The realizing of my soul I wish to finally be made whole
