Depression of the Mind

I was a dreamer I had a dream You left a believer Left to believe What is this feeling? Why can't I feel? My heart is bleeding Why did you leave? I'm cold and shaking I'm perfectly numb This smile, I'm faking I made myself dumb As sad as we all are I start to succumb As sad as we all are I was played like a drum Beaten and battered With the pick, they would strum As sad as it all is I start to become So far and so distant What am I running from? I'll close the umbrella I'll silence the voice This is my dilemma But there's only one choice I think it's time to go I hear them saying so Why did you have to go?
