Wail of Profaned

Abandoned shrines ruined In the focused wrath Bones and ashes Are covering ice cold marble Despite the prophecies The Sacred Flame Is nearly extinguished Hope is dying with the light Haunted by the faceless shades For them I am plain blasphemer Faith was to be our shield Yet another lie revealed I am tired of my path Endless dance between the lights In reflexions I find cover By the time What if The sacred flame is gone No reflexions without brightness I'll become vulnerable Tremendous cries are Calling from beyond Deafened by the lies I see Altars ravaged Flame will shortly fade Salvation refused Death for the profaned Wretched murmur Can be heard upon midnight Lamentation of afflicted souls Cruelly torn From the fragile forms Desecrated remains Their agony is infinite Haunted by the faceless shades I hear silent steps impend Always meant to be offering Into twilight I descend Tremendous cries Called me from beyond Exhausted by their lies I yield Fire has faded Hear tears on last way Unending anguish Wail of the profaned
