Out of the blue We went to the country Abandoned the urban And followed the bus Bright summer day I swallowed you whole I love the way You're swimming in the river Going green like a tadpole And it gets so warm We go out at night Firefly swarm Sitting on the haystacks Tell me all your secrets Didn't know that it was that bad In the dark i see your weakness God i love you Campfire By the river on a monday All nighter Running through fields for a blue bouquet Barbed wire Broke the swing at the castle Watch fire See you laugh scribble the sky with coal And I know why it makes me so happy And even though the feeling looks simple A made up state of community I'll lie and believe it's not temporary And baby do you find the green sinful I'm sorry i wish i could be normal And it gets so warm We go out at night Firefly swarm Sitting on the haystacks Tell me all your secrets Feel so close and yet so abstract You're hilarious and leafless Known in the region As reckless trespassers But we were only in that woman's field to watch the sunrise Getting possessed at the cemetery Breaking into pools and stealing puppies Absolutely making out with cows Electrocuted on our way out And if all else fails Let's lay on this grass And let enough time pass Our bodies will join the core of the earth And maybe we can stay a little longer
