A Withered Rose

Lost inside My endless mind The canvas I've made Has all but turned grey For days I've tried To find the right rhyme But I can't seem to shake This feeling of mine In twilight Under golden sky I stare high At the passing light All night I've spent alive But I wish To cease to exist Day after day With no words to say I'll wait for years Bearing no tears From dawn till dusk Patience is must I'll decompose Like A Withered Rose You walked away I couldn't make you stay Time has past We can't make this last As I lay I'll die in vain
